1. How do I know if you are real?

Answer: Telephone Dr. Jerry during his office hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm (Monday through Thursday) and 7:30am to Noon (Friday) – all times are in the mountain time zone.  If you get voice mail, leave a message as Dr. Jerry is frequently very busy – but well known for returning all calls.

2. Have you ever worked for someone in my field?

Answer: Dr. Jerry has written more than 32,000 résumés over the last 25 years – there is not a single occupation that he has not dealt with, period. He so confident of this claim that he promises to write a new résumé for you FREE if you have an occupation, or desired career path, that he has not dealt with in the past.

3. Are there any additional costs?

Answer: No, none whatsoever – the prices noted on the “Order” page are the maximum you will pay – currently all e-commerce costs are paid by Dr. Jerry and there are no sales tax costs or shipping charges.

4. Why are Dr. Jerry’s costs so low?

Answer: Others have been known to charge anywhere from $695 to $2,395 for similar services – of course they include things that are not essential (e.g., interview coaching to people who already have good vocal skills and “Thank You” notes – which you can buy at any supermarket and use the words “Thank you for taking the time to interview me, you made me feel very much at ease.”  Some also include a session of career coaching and you get enough of that during your interview with Dr. Jerry. 5. Does Dr. Jerry work with clients outside of Colorado?

Answer: Most of his 32,000+ clients live outside of Colorado (and many live in Europe) – he does all his work over the telephone or using Skype and then uses confidential emails to transmit draft and final documents.

6. What documents do I get?

Answer: Regardless of the service you pick that best serves your special needs, you will receive the finished resume in MS-Word, PDF, and ASCII formats (all formats needed for a complete search) plus a finished cover letter in MS-Word format.  The MS-Word and ASCII formats can be easily modified at any time – so you do not need to pay additional dollars when your changes are minor.  Dr. Jerry also includes a URL where you can easily burn a PDF version of any modified document without additional cost.

Answer: Dr. Jerry offers only 4 services (#1: A new resume and cover letter for someone unemployed – currently $149; #2 A new resume and cover letter for someone seeking a non-leadership or non-management position – currently $199; #3:  A new resume and cover letter for someone seeking a leadership or management opportunity – current $299 (currently offered on a two for one price); and #4:  Various types of services as discussed with Dr. Jerry (e.g., cover letter only, editing of your own document, Requests for Admission) – and these are priced by Dr. Jerry in advance of the work commencing and the fee is dependent on his opinion of the time needed to complete the project.

8. May I purchase this service as a gift?

Answer: It is a fairly common practice for a parent, friend, or spouse to purchase a service from Dr. Jerry as a gift.  Once you have determined the amount, please send Dr. Jerry an email to let him know the name and contact information of the party getting the gift.  You can also wait until Dr. Jerry contacts you and then tell him the name of the lucky party.

9. What forms of payment are accepted by Dr. Jerry?

Answer: Dr. Jerry uses PayPal (owned by E-bay) as his e-commerce processor and this firm accepts all credit cards:  Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCP,  as well as cash and debit cards, checks, (all non-credit card transactions result in a processing delay as determined by PayPal). At the present time all e-commerce costs (e.g., PayPal fees and etc. are fully paid by Dr. Jerry).

10. What is Dr. Jerry’s policy on refunds?

Answer: If you change you mind before any work has commenced, then Dr. Jerry will, without delay, refund the full purchase amount.  Once work has started and/or a draft has been transmitted then his refund policy is identical to his policy regarding his guarantee “If, after 30 days of using your new resume, you are not 100% satisfied, Dr. Jerry will rewrite the resume–without hassle.“ So long as conversations remain civil, Dr. Jerry will do whatever he can, without any additional charge, to develop a résumé or CV that you can feel confident sending out to potential employers.
